Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your DimeDock account and the personal data associated with it. This page explains how to make a deletion request, what will be deleted, what may be retained, and how active subscriptions are handled. This page is also the resource referenced for Google Play's account-deletion listing.
How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your DimeDock account, send an email to support@dopetechlabs.com from the email address associated with your account, with the following details:
- Send the email from the email address registered with your account.
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".
- Include the registered email address (and, if you use multiple email addresses, indicate which one is the account address) in the body of the email.
- Do not include passwords, full payment-card numbers, or other sensitive financial information in your request.
We may ask for additional information to verify your identity before processing your request.
Identity Verification
To protect your account, we verify deletion requests before acting on them. Verification typically relies on the email address registered with your account and may include additional confirmation steps where needed. We will not delete account data until your identity has been verified to a reasonable level of confidence.
Processing Timeline
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 7 business days. Complete removal from active systems and routine backup cycles may take longer, consistent with normal industry practice. We will confirm completion by email once your request has been processed.
What Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, we will remove or de-identify the following data associated with your account:
- Account and profile data (such as email, display name, profile image, and authentication state).
- Financial records you have entered, including accounts, transactions, categories, tags, budgets, savings goals, warranties, recurring items, automation rules, reminders, and related reports.
- Authentication tokens and active sessions associated with your account.
- Push-notification tokens linked to your account.
What May Be Retained
To operate the Service responsibly and comply with applicable law, we may retain certain limited records after account deletion, including:
- Routine encrypted backups for a limited retention window, until those backups are overwritten in the ordinary course.
- Security, audit, and abuse-prevention logs needed to protect the Service and our users.
- Payment, billing, and subscription records required for accounting, tax, chargeback handling, and fraud prevention.
- Aggregated or de-identified analytics that cannot reasonably be linked to you.
- Records required to comply with a legal obligation, to enforce our agreements, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Active Subscriptions
Deleting your DimeDock account does not automatically cancel any active subscription billed by Google Play or another app store. To stop further charges, you must cancel the subscription directly in your store account before or after requesting deletion. Refunds for past charges, if any, are handled under the store's refund policy and applicable consumer-protection law.
Export Your Data Before Deletion
If data export is available on your platform, we recommend exporting a copy of your data before requesting deletion. Where export is not yet available in-app, you may contact support@dopetechlabs.com to request a copy of your data. We will provide an export where technically feasible and subject to identity verification.
Reinstatement
Account deletion is intended to be permanent. Once processed, account data cannot be restored. If you change your mind in the future, you are welcome to sign up again, but prior data will not be recoverable.
